WHY ME?

I understand exactly where you are because I’ve been there myself!

My background is in sales, where I worked with multinational brands, selling to major supermarkets and leading teams of sales managers. Despite this, my husband and I always harbored the dream of owning our own hospitality business. We envisioned a life where we could be our own bosses, achieve a satisfying work/life balance, and create memorable experiences for holidaymakers that would make them want to return year after year.

Although we lacked formal experience in hospitality, we were driven by our dream, determination, and boundless energy. In 2012, we purchased an apartment house in a ski and hiking resort in Austria and began to develop our business, eagerly welcoming guests.

We initially relied on online travel agents like Booking.com and our local tourist information office to attract bookings. However, I soon began exploring ways to boost our sales and increase direct bookings. Since 2014, our sales value has increased fivefold due to higher occupancy rates, increased average pricing, longer stays, and many happy repeat guests. Even better, 85% of our bookings are now direct, which means we’re in control and pay less in commissions to online travel agents.

Over the past 6 years, I’ve been offering tips online to help others achieve success in securing direct bookings. With the systems and processes I’ve established, our business nearly runs itself. This fortunate position has afforded me the time to share my experiences with others, helping you increase your bookings and reach a point where your business can nearly run itself too!
